After missing the B-1 Bomber last year and getting very wet, I had high hopes for a better experience this year. The weather was better today but not great. Andrew and I did get to see the B-1 take off from Patrick Air Force Base, and we were totally impressed. The air was alive with energy as the pilot kicked in the four afterburners to drive the plane down the runway. It was like standing next to the railroad tracks as a long train rolls by.
