When they arrived, we sat down to burgers and dogs off the grill. After lunch, we started discussing plans for the rest of the day. I got the impression that they were willing to stay a couple more hours, so I asked Todd if he'd like to take that flight we had talked about earlier. He said "Yes", so I jumped into my oh-so-cool pilot uniform - I wouldn't dream of flying a FSI plane without it - and we drove to the airport. I took Todd east to the coast, then north up past Sebastian, then west through the practice areas, then back east to the airport.
Meanwhile, the girls and kids stayed in our neighborhood and went to the playground. Along the way, they met one of our neighbors with a little girl about Andrew's age. She's also in pre-kindergarten, but at a different school. She had a black and white bunny and I hear the kids really liked it. They liked it so much that they almost didn't make it to the playground!
After returning from the airport, we found everyone back at our condo. Andrew and Abigale were busy building a puzzle together and Emma was playing with a spiky ball. Before long, they had to say good-bye and get back on the road. It was sure great seeing them.
